Godfrey & Wing is transferring its Providence, RI production facility to its headquarters in Aurora, OH. This transfer will expand vacuum impregnation services for new and existing customers, especially major aerospace and defense companies. The transition will be complete on April 1st, 2022.
This transfer of production provides two main benefits.
First, Godfrey & Wing's research and development (R&D) lab is located in Aurora. Having R&D and production operations in the same facility helps Godfrey & Wing work with customers to identify the correct sealant and process, then streamline to production.
Secondly, Godfrey & Wing's Aurora, OH facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified. ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard of quality. It aims to develop a quality management system that provides continual improvement, defect prevention, and the reduction of variation and waste. The certification ensures that Godfrey & Wing's products and services efficiently and effectively meet customer requirements.
Located in Godfrey & Wing's headquarters are office personnel, equipment design and build, production services, and sealant distribution.
