Godfrey & Wing had the honor of sponsoring and participating in the Electrical Apparatus Service Association, Inc. (EASA) E&W Chapter Convention 2023 in the picturesque city of Nice, France, from October 5th to 7th, at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

About The Convention

The theme of this year's convention was "People Drive Success," emphasizing the significance of networking, collaboration, and knowledge expansion.

The primary objective of the E&W Chapter Convention was to offer a unique opportunity for industry members and businesses to connect, engage with potential customers, foster referrals, and expand their knowledge.

This event was a remarkable gathering of minds from across the globe, featuring 150 participants representing 84 companies hailing from 30 different countries. What made this convention truly special was that all the attendees were CEOs, high-level executives, or decision-makers in their respective organizations, making it the largest EASA European event since its inception.

For Godfrey & Wing, this convention was an excellent opportunity to showcase its Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) offerings and connect with a diverse array of industry leaders. During the event, the team had the privilege of meeting with numerous attendees, and we were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the exceptional networking opportunities that the convention presented.

From The Godfrey & Wing Team

"We understand there are other VPI manufacturers in Europe, although none of them were present, or part of the EASA European chapter. This, I believe, will be a huge advantage for GW as we grow our VPI brand in Europe, Asia, and North America,” said Brett Eyring, Senior Business Manager, Godfrey & Wing. “In the near term, we are excited to continue to nurture these relationships and begin converting the leads we gathered into orders."

“Godfrey and Wing is committed to innovation and dedicated to expanding our footprint in the European market,” said Ralf Versmold, Managing Director Europe, Godfrey & Wing. “As we build on the connections made during this event, we are poised to make a significant impact in the world of Vacuum Pressure Impregnation and beyond.”

The team’s successful engagement at the convention, complemented by their innovative VPI solutions, has established a solid groundwork for future endeavors in Europe and other regions.
