Godfrey & Wing has engaged Jorge Sigala, Director of Sales and Engineering Solutions Co. (SESCO) to be our representative in Mexico and South America. Jorge brings over 16 years of experience in the automotive and other industries serving in various engineering and sales capacities.
Jorge spent seven years as a process and manufacturing engineer at Visteon before becoming a representative. In that capacity, he has developed business opportunities with Mexican companies like Motorola, Honeywell, Visteon, Bosch, Bendix, and TRW to name a few. His principals have included electronic component manufacturers, a metal stamper and a die caster (Magnesium Aluminum Corporation).
His firm, SESCO, not only functions as a traditional rep firm developing business with end users, but also providing support for quality and delivery issues as well as site and people selection supporting his principals expansion plans.
As our Mexican representative, he will be initially responsible for the local Linamar customer relationship during installation and start-up of the CFi’s at ILSA in Torreon. He will also be the point person as we identify and attack market opportunities in Mexico and South America while protecting our current business interests in the area.
