Godfrey & Wing Exhibiting at the Japanese Die Casting Congress and Exposition

3 Minute Read

Godfrey & Wing is exhibiting at the Japanese Die Casting Congress and Exposition (J-Dec), November 10-12, in Yokohama, Japan. Attendees will learn how the company’s vacuum impregnation equipment efficiently and safely seals die casting porosity. The Congress and Exposition features technical sessions on the die casting and finishing processes given by experts, along with exhibits on the latest technology used in the industry.

According to the Japan Die Casting Association, aluminum sales have increased year-over-year by 11.1% due to expectations for the launch of new and newly developed products in Japan. As this surge continues, vacuum impregnation will be the primary source to seal porosity. Godfrey & Wing’s state of the art equipment and sealant are well positioned to meet Japanese customers’ needs in this dynamic market.

The company's commitment to J-Dec reflects how its technology aligns with Japanese manufacturing principles. For example, the continuous-flow and single-piece production technology of Godfrey & Wing's equipment is built on the just-in-time manufacturing philosophy first developed in Japan. The equipment seals porosity while focusing on efficiency, productivity, and reducing waste. These principles have led to Godfrey & Wing's systems being the most used worldwide.
