Thermal-Cure Sealants

Thermal-cure sealants perform best when sealing micro-porosity in castings. They cure quickly when heated to 195° F (90°C), allowing parts to be pressure-tested in either continuous-flow or transfer-line type applications. These sealants are also optimal for the Dry Vacuum and Pressure (DVP) impregnation process.

All Godfrey & Wing sealants are recoverable. Their use improves part sealing, maintains purity of the impregnation process and eliminates risk of sealant contamination. Use of recoverable sealants allow for ease of use, longer pot life and stable properties.
