Complete impregnation system designed and installed
A major manufacturer of ball valves in North America recently completed the installation of an impregnation system designed and installed by Godfrey & Wing.
Prior to the installation of the system, the manufacturer had been sending their valves to an outside vendor to be impregnated. Wanting to eliminate the significant cost associated with the shipping of the product to an offsite vendor, the manufacturer contacted Godfrey & Wing seeking information and assistance in designing an impregnation system that would meet their specific needs.
After thoroughly reviewing the customer’s requirements, the Godfrey and Wing engineering team completely refurbished a Dry Vacuum and Pressure (DVP) system specifically to meet the manufacturer’s needs. Godfrey & Wing engineering and technical teams provided support through every step of the process, including installation, quality control, training and ongoing field support.
The manufacturer benefited from Godfrey & Wing’s expertise with impregnation equipment, sealants and service that resulted in cost savings and improved quality control of their product by bringing the process in house.
