Godfrey & Wing is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Chapman to General Manager of Service Operations and the promotion of Han Sim to General Manager of the Sealant Division.

Mr. Chapman and Mr. Sim will play instrumental roles in managing teams focused on innovation and excellence and ensuring customer involvement and satisfaction. Godfrey & Wing experienced record growth in 2013, and these two leaders will help the company continue its strategic growth into 2014 and beyond.

As General Manager, Service Operations, Mr. Chapman is responsible for leading and managing daily operations in all the service facilities of the Company. His focus will be on optimizing the service operations and establishing a stable, viable supply base for the manufacturing industry. 

Mr. Chapman has over 25 years of experience within the manufacturing industry in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.A. He spent the last three years as Site Operations Manager for Godfrey & Wing at both the Toledo, Ohio impregnation and Defiance, Ohio X-ray service centers.

As General Manager, Sealant Division, Mr. Sim’s mission is to understand and satisfy customers’ vacuum impregnation sealant needs while providing excellent customer service. His focus will be on enhancing the safety and security of his employees through personal development, providing a quality product through improved manufacturing processes and continuous improvements of products through strategic research and development.

Mr. Sim has over 10 years of experience in the aluminum and magnesium die casting industry and has worked for Godfrey & Wing for seven years, where he was previously the Quality Manager at the Aurora, Ohio facility.
