Job Summary: 
This position will support a broad range of human resource activities including multi-site recruitment, onboarding, compliance, health and safety reporting, and HR administration. This position requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, facilitate, and implements all phases of recruitment process for all GW locations.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Manages job posting, advertisement and Paylocity ATS processes
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
  • Schedules and assist with coordinating the interview process
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and the Manager, Human Resources during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details
  • Attends and participates in college job board and recruiting sessions
  • Coordinates temporary staff agency contracts, requesting of staff and submission of weekly hours
  • Manages new hire onboarding process including new hire packet creation, set up in payroll system, coordinates laptop/cell phone orders and completes new hire checklist, coordinates and tracks background checks and drug screens
  • Tracks and prepares reporting for the following – tenure, turnover, temp staff, new hire benefit eligibility, Cobra, temp agency COI, company property, driving records and driver insurance document collection, EEO, OSHA, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Assists with HR compliance audits (i.e. employee file, handbook, policy and I9)
  • Assist with annual benefits open enrollment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of Human Resources experiences with a focus on full-cycle recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Skills/Knowledge:

Microsoft Office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Knowledge of labor laws and human resources best practices.
