Below is a complete list of Godfrey & Wing thermal-cure and anaerobic impregnation sealants.
Godfrey & Wing Thermal-Cure Sealants:
95-1000 – Used primarily for castings in small production runs, 95-1000 is a very thick sealant that effectively seals large, open porosity. It has tremendous chemical and heat resistance.
95-1000A – An excellent all-around choice for powdered metal components and castings, 95-1000A has superior chemical resistance. It is approved to Military Standard 276A and is specified and used by almost all automotive, industrial and aerospace OEMs. 95-1000A is the most widely specified and utilized impregnation sealant in North America. It is also UL listed and NSF certified.
95-1000AA – The latest in thermal-cure sealants, 95-1000AA follows the natural progression of innovation in the GW sealant family. As a lower viscosity sealant, 95-1000AA is designed specifically to seal micro-porosity in cast or high density powdered metal parts. It is easy to use and rinses very effectively. It also has extremely high heat resistance and excellent chemical resistance. This sealant is approved to MIL-STD-276A and is used extensively in the automotive and industrial OEM markets.
ElecFlex FP – A low-shrinkage sealant that is also flame-proof, ElecFlex FP is perfect for applications where the components to be impregnated may be exposed to a flame later in the manufacturing process. Take, for instance, the flame soldering of cables to a motor. With ElecFlex FP, the flame does not compromise the integrity or the performance of the sealant that is impregnated into the cables.
Godfrey & Wing Anaerobic Sealants:
95-1000AC – The choice to seal powdered metal components and castings, 95-1000AC is a superior general-purpose anaerobic sealant. Neither extreme heat nor corrosive chemicals can break it down. This sealant is approved to MIL-STD-276A and listed on the Department of Defense’s Qualified Products List (QPL).
95-1000ACP – Designed for powdered metal components intended for plating, 95-1000ACP is similar to its AC counterpart except that it is more washable, and thus the best choice for components intended to be plated after the impregnation process. It too has excellent heat and chemical resistance. This sealant is approved to MIL-STD-276A.
ElecFlex 220 – Designed to seal leak paths in electrical components, wiring, and wire harness assemblies, ElecFlex 220 is a highly flexible sealant that adheres to all surfaces with which it comes in contact. For electrical components, this flexibility is critically important, since metal, plastic, and other materials that comprise these components expand and contract at different rates when temperatures and atmospheric conditions change in these components’ working environments.
