Vibratory Deburring

Treating The Entire Part

Godfrey & Wing offers vibratory deburring to completely remove burrs and provide a consistent finish on the entire part. Vibratory Deburring, or Mass Finishing, removes burrs by moving a mass of media over the surface of the part holding the burr.

Based on the ability to treat the entire part and not just the burr or edge, vibratory deburring opens up additional possibilities in the areas of polishing, descaling, cleaning and smoothing.

Abrasive Blasting

Chromate Conversion Coating

A cost-effective solution for controlling corrosion and improving paint adhesion on cast aluminum parts.

• Economical alternative to anodizing
• Can be used when abrasion resistance is not required
• Commonly refered to by trade names:
  – Iridite
  – Alodine
• Can be applied as a stand alone process or in addition to impregnation

Glass Beading

To provide finer finishes, lightly deburr or clean parts, Godfrey & Wing provides Glass Bead Blasting with a variety of noncontaminating, nonmetallic media.

Using both direct pressure and suction equipment, Godfrey & Wing has developed its Glass Bead processes to clean, deburr and enhance your parts overall appearance.
