Aurora, Ohio – Godfrey & Wing, a business specializing in the design and manufacture of technology to seal porosity, received ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 certification from Smithers Quality Assessments (SQA), an accredited third party registrar.

The ISO/TS 16949:2009 is an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) technical specification aimed at the development of a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain and the requirements are intended to be applied throughout the supply chain.

The ISO 9001:2008 quality management system standard is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product.
