The Summit fabrication and assembly departments develop fabricated tooling when the precision of machined tools is cost prohibitive.
Our Controls and Automation Group integrates the mechanical solutions seamlessly into the manufacturing environment. Our controls engineers have experience in integrating material handling, assembly stations and processing equipment directly on the manufacturing floor. Whether it be robotic handling and end of arm tooling design or panel build including PLCs, servo systems, operator interfaces, and data acquisition, our engineers develop solutions with a focus on repeatability, quality and cost.
