LAB TECHNICIAN - PART TIME

Location: Aurora, OH

Start date: 07/17/2010

Job Description:

 

·        Assist in the formulation of various sealant samples.

·        Perform analytical chemistry experiments on samples.

·        Calculate and record test results.

·        Calibration and verification of lab equipment.

·         Follow basic lab instructions. 

·        Analyze and report results.

·        Write standard operating procedures.

·        Provide routine housekeeping in assigned area of work.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Lab Tech experience working in a lab environment.

·        Polymer (plastics) background or a general chemistry/science interest preferred.

·        Prefer a strong emphasis on logical and mechanical reasoning in a lab environment.

·        Familiarity with the utilization of lab instruments.

·        Must have some technical abilities and be a quick learner.

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required.

·        Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

 

Part-time, 20 hours/week.  Flexible schedule.

Janitor/Light Maintenance - part-time

Job Description:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning shop floors, wiping down machinery, and light maintenace such as painting, wall paper repair, changing light bulbs,  and minor repairs.
 
Must have the ability to follow written procedures and directions and show attention to quality and safety.  Previous janitorial experience desirable.
 
Flexible, part-time hours, 4 hours/day - some hours must be outside of regular work hours.

Field Service Technician

Job Description:

 

Overview: 

Provides preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning and general servicing of industrial equipment and systems.  Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

 

Education/Experience: 

Must have 3+ years electrical experience and exposure to all facets of industrial machine controls systems.  Hydraulic and pneumatic experience required.  Must have demonstrated knowledge of gear reduction and power transmission.  An understanding of PLC and HMI logic programming and debug is strongly preferred. Experience with Allen Bradley, Omron and PC based systems required.

 

Will require being on-call to perform emergency repairs during off-business hours.

 

50-75% Travel including international

Maintenance/Robotics Technician

Job Description:

Responsible for overall equipment, systems and building maintenance.  Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.  Manipulates/troubleshoots robots as required for efficient production. Must be flexible to run production when required.

 

High school diploma.  Electrical Engineering Technology certification or other relevant technical certification preferred.  Must have 3-5 years related experience.  Robotics/electrical controls experience required.  Prefer ownership of standard maintenance tools.

 

Repeated standing/walking throughout plant floor most of the day.  Intermittent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Manufacturing/Maintenance Manager

Job Description:


POSITION SUMMARY:  We have an immediate need for a MANUFACTURING/MAINTENANCE MANAGER TO ENSURE THE READINESS AND EFFICIENT USE OF THE COMPANY'S EQUIPMENT AND PROCESSES.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Leads and directs the manufacturing process as it relates to:  equipment readiness, troubleshooting and maintenance, data collection and process improvements, plant procedures/practices, and safety/compliance.  Interfaces professionally with Engineering, Production, Sales and Quality to expedite and resolve technical production issues.  Provides leadership, direction and guidance to staff to achieve individual and company goals. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  Associate's Degree or related maintenance certification.  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field strongly preferred.  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Maintenance Management or equivalent role.  Must have significant experience in a manufacturing environment with the demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and manage equipment capabilities and a clear understanding of manufacturing processes.  Experience in a machine build environment and/or automotive industry a plus.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:  Must have excellent leadership abilities and be a strategic thinker.  Must demonstrate excellent problem solving/decision making skills with the ability to use good business judgment.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an absolute focus on customer satisfaction required.  Must be flexible to adapt to a fast pace and changing environment.  Ability to travel 50% of the time required.
